They don't really play, for obvious reasons, but they both get really excited when they see each other! They even do synchronized sits and downs:) (not that Mr. Moon has far to go in his "down" but still...). I had some studying to do, then we went to PetSmart to get his nails done. More proof of his intelligence- he's figured out how to maneuver himself from the back of my CRV to the front. It used to take him a solid 10 minutes to kick himself over; he's down to about 4 seconds. Here he is super excited about the field trip! lol Actually...his eyes are red because I woke him up from a nap to go. He perked up as soon as we got inside:)

He made friends with the other dogs getting their nails done, the lady trying to keep her poodles in their seats and discovered that he LOVES the bird cages! He got some toys too. The frog squeaks, has rope, stuffing AND rubber in it! What else do you need in a dog toy?
That's right, some Christmas cheer:)
Oddly enough, he likes the penguin way better than the frog...
After some more play time in the field, he had a nice long nap while Chris and I went to church to officially become members (YAY!) and went out for pizza when Harris Teeter told us it would be an hour wait. NO THANK YOU! Sure, Cogan's Hawaiian was twice the price of HT Pizza Mondays, but it had bacon and prosciutto as well as the to-be-expected ham and pineapple and didn't take an hour! Pork in 3 forms on one pizza-yes please! Pic on WIAW. So, to wrap up this post that makes me look like a crazy dog lady, here's some of my favorite moments from our first year with Hank:)
Awwww.... I can't believe he's a year already! Seems like yesterday we went to pick him up! He's so cute :)
